Felicia T. Clayton, Founder and CEO

Felicia T. Clayton, a California native, is the Founder and Principal of VKM Int'l, a Human Capital and Talent Management Consulting firm founded in 2001.  She has over 20 years of experience in human resources with a diverse background across all boundaries of public, private and non-profit organizations including the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. Her human resources experience includes but is not limited to Benefits Administration, Classification & Compensation, Mediation & Dispute Resolution, Employee & Industrial Relations, Project Management, and Talent Management which includes Recruitment, Staffing & Selection and Training & Development.

Ms. Clayton has professional affiliations with American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA), and Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).  She received certification in Industrial Relations from Loyola Marymount University, possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from California State University Dominguez Hills, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from California State University Los Angeles as well as a Master of Arts in Culture & Communication from Trinity International University.  She also studied at the Rene Cassin Institute of International Human Rights in Strasbourg, France.

Her social responsibility projects include since 2001, serving as a volunteer mediator for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office Mediation and Dispute Resolution program.  Also since 2001, she has acted as a professional expert in dance with Los Angeles Unified School District's Gifted and Talented Program under the Conservatory of Fine Arts at California State University Los Angeles.  As a licensed minister, Ms. Clayton has worked with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Multifaith Executive Clergy Advisory Council since 2007.

Known for her work with disadvantaged youth, she appeared on NBC Nightline News for the Ennis Beley story, "Portrait of a Short Life", a youth slain at age 16 who was previously in attendance at the private school where she served as an educator and administrator.
